We are each made-up of countless versions of ourselves. It’s complicated! Some versions get triggered and we don’t know why. Other versions are wounded from trauma, and it takes some work getting to the root of the problem. We might not be giving ourselves what we need because we might not know what those needs are. Our perspective can be too up-close to see the big picture. Sometimes we need feedback from a wider point of view.
